A 2 day training course for EMS Internal Auditors based upon the requirements of ISO 14001

	What you will learn
	At the end of this practical course, delegates will be able to: Describe the responsibilities of Internal Auditors, and their role in maintaining and improving ISO 14001 environmental management systems Explain the purpose and structure of ISO 14001 Describe the management principles underpinning ISO 14001 Identify sources of information to assist in identifying applicable legislation Understand the requirements of ISO 14001 as they apply to their own organisation's EMS. Plan and prepare for an ISO 14001 internal audit of the environmental management system Gather objective evidence through observation, interview and sampling of documents and records Write factual audit reports that help to improve the effectiveness of the Environmental management system Suggest ways in which the effectiveness of corrective action might be verified
